It's a welcoming place with a great atmosphere, and somewhere you want to go for a good cappuccino or a homemade lunch with a glass of wine. The selection of cheeses, and other deli produce, together with the a beautiful selection of fine wines, makes this deli a "must-visit" destination.

I am a regular customer of Berits & Brown and often pop in for a snack, a deli lunch or for a coffee and a browse. I really enjoy buying from their interesting range of quality foods and fine wines, which do not seem available anywhere else. I even joined their wine club to take advantage of the special offers. But the best thing about Berits & Brown is their helpful and cheerful service - and now every time I go in I'm made to feel more like a friend than a customer

We live opposite Berits & Brown in Kippen and to be honest when they first opened we weren't sure how things would turn out. Happily for us it's been wonderful. We use the place regularly to buy a few bits and pieces from the deli, or just to relax at the communal table with a cup of their fantastic coffee and a snack. Sue and Pete have become very good neighbours and have created a friendly, welcoming place. When we have family and friends staying we make a point of taking them into the shop.

Berits & Brown is just such a nice place to be in, the smell of the coffee and the sight of the lovely deli food always make me hungry. In fact, I run a local bed and breakfast with my husband Martin, and we always recommend to our guests that they pop in there. Not that they need much persuasion because they will have already sampled some of the tasty morsels as I shop there myself.

I own the hairdressing salon just down from Berits & Brown and use it all the time. I just love the way that the produce is so fresh and the way that I can put together my lunch from the lovely things on the deli counter. Nothing is too difficult for the friendly, smiling staff. All my clients are offered a coffee when they sit down in the salon and if I'm too busy to send anyone up to collect it, one of the girls in the shop will bring it down for me. You don't get that kind of service in many places.

When I first heard that Berits & Brown was to open in Kippen I was pleased. Although I run the local butchers shop and also sell a range of delicatessen products, I believed increased competition would be a good thing for my business and the village.
This proved to be the case! Since the deli opened across the street there are more people in the village, and a lot of them are coming into my shop. Berits & Brown and T & R Skinners have even started running joint promotions to encourage our customers to visit both places. I can honestly say that Berits & Brown are a welcome addition to the local business community.

Inverarity Vaults Ltd was formed in 1991 as an independent Scottish company producing Inverarity Whiskies and importing Fine Wines. Our aim is to be sole agents for top quality, family owned wineries from around the world. In recent years we have moved into establishing our own, trade mark registered wine brands from Australia, South Africa and New Zealand.
Inverarity Vaults has been a supplier of fine wines and whiskey to Berits & Brown since 2004. During this time I have become impressed with Peter's knowledge and passion for the products we supply and I am looking forward to a long and mutually beneficial relationship with the Berits & Brown Franchise Network.
